    Decorated Trains

Okay, I'm not exactly sure where I should put this but I think this place is as good as any. I've been wondering, when I lived in Switzerland we used to go to the station and there were always these trains that were painted all over with kiddy pictures or some other design. I'm wondering if there are trains like that all around Europe? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Wow! That train sounds unique. Unfortunately, I haven't seen such thing. The trains in our place are just simple. I think there's no need to put lots of decoration on trains because the glittering cities and mountainous scenery is enough to entertain passengers while on journey. What do you think?

Never seen a train like that during my travels, but it sounds neat.  Here in Chicago they decorate an el train for the holidays and offer a free ride with Santa on the descorated train.  Kids love it and it is always a popular ticket.  I know its not the same but its the closest thing to what you saw that I can think of.

I see... I think it's just Switzerland, probably. They're famous for their trains. They even had little indoor playgrounds on the train for kids.

I haven't seen trains like that, but some streetcars in Toronto have advertisements that are designed to just about cover the entire car.

It looks very well done. I think it's probably silk screening or something like that.
